Church Conservation Organisations

Churches Conservation Trust. The custodian of over 360 important church buildings across England which have been saved for future generations following their redundancy as active places of worship.

Friends of Friendless Churches. Founded in 1957, the FFC now cares for 60 churches from several denominations and traditions across Wales and England. Most are in rural areas and there are some real gems among them!

Church Tourism Groups

EY Churches. Encourages visits to the many interesting churches in the historic East Riding of Yorkshire. The "Leaflets" page is especially useful if you are planning a visit to the area.

Herefordshire Church Tourism Group". Some of Herefordshire's churches are nationally known and rightly so - Kilpeck and Leominster Priory spring to mind - but the county is teeming with lesser known churches, all waiting to welcome you.

Shropshire Churches Tourism Group. The glorious county of Shropshire has over 400 church buildings, many of which are open and welcoming towards visitors and tourists. Find out more about these diverse and fascinating churches here.
